What we collect
When you fill in a form. Your name, phone number, email address, and anything you type into the message field. We ask for these so we can contact you about the project you are enquiring about.
When you book a consultation. Your name, email address, phone number and the address of the property, because the consultation happens at your home.
When you call us. The number you called from, the time and length of the call, and which advertisement or page brought you to us.
When you simply browse. Pages viewed, how you arrived, approximate location derived from your IP address, and general device and browser information.
Why we collect it
- To answer your enquiry, prepare an estimate and carry out work you ask us to do
- To understand which advertisements and pages actually produce enquiries, so we are not paying for advertising that does not work
- To keep the website working and secure
Who else sees it
We do not sell your information. We do use other companies to run parts of this website, and information passes through them:
- FormSubmit delivers our website forms to our email inbox.
- Cal.com runs the booking calendar and sends the confirmation emails.
- CallRail handles call tracking. It shows different phone numbers to different visitors so we can tell which advertisement produced a call.
- Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta receive information about website activity and conversions. Where we send them contact details to measure whether an advertisement produced an enquiry, those details are hashed first, which converts them into an irreversible string of characters before they leave our systems.
- Cloudflare and Stape host and serve the website and the measurement infrastructure.
We may also share information where the law requires it, or with people working on your project when that is necessary to do the work.
Cookies
This website sets cookies to measure advertising performance and understand how the site is used. Some are set by our own domain and some by the companies listed above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work, but our measurement of it becomes less accurate.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and project records are kept for as long as we may need them for the work, our accounts and our legal obligations. Website analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the services above.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act may give you further rights, including the right to opt out of information being shared for cross-context behavioural advertising. Children
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
