Building in Fallbrook
Fallbrook is rural in character, with larger properties, mature planting, and a housing stock that varies widely in age and style.
Space is the defining feature. Larger lots support outdoor construction that is genuinely ambitious — covered patios sized for real gatherings, outdoor kitchens with utilities run during construction rather than retrofitted, and hardscape planned as part of the whole rather than added piecemeal.
Inland conditions apply, and strongly. Hot afternoons, powerful sun on west-facing elevations, and finishes that weather unevenly across a house. Outdoor spaces need shade where the sun actually is at the hours you use them, which usually means something vertical on the west side rather than an overhead cover alone.
Older Fallbrook properties frequently reveal previous work when opened — additions made over the years, systems extended rather than replaced. Where we can assess before demolition, we do, so it goes into the plan rather than surfacing halfway through.
